Distracted Driving Bulletin: Keeping Yourself and Others Safe
According to the National Safety Council, motor vehicle deaths in the United States rose to 40,200 in 2016, the third annual increase in a row, while cellphone ownership for US adults rose from 89 percent in 2013 to 95 percent in 2016 (Pew Research Center). PHLY believes these two trends are related and that cellphone-related distracted driving has become a serious public safety concern. Go here to learn what you can do to help keep yourself and others safe from the dangers of distracted driving.

Storm Checklist

When preparing for a possible storm, don't be led into a false sense of security. Use these checklists to minimize your facilities' exposures. Instituting the following precautions before, during, and after a severe windstorm, tornado, or hurricane can help mitigate the severity of the loss as well as enhance the overall safety of the facility.
