Weather Insurance
Event weather insurance protects against adverse weather conditions that can reduce revenue from sources such as ticket sales, concessions, food and parking. Typical buyers of event weather insurance include fairs, festivals, concerts, parades and air shows. It can provide coverage for many perils including rain, snow, wind, lightning and adverse weather. Although you may be appointed with PHLY, you will need to register as a broker within the TotalEvent system to access the Event Cancellation product. Once on the TotalEvent homepage, please click "Start Here" in the New Broker section to start the appointment process with Tokio Marine HCC Specialty and receive your username and password. You can obtain an online quote (for rain only) or complete the application below and e-mail to: Weather@tmhcc.com.
Event Cancellation
Event Cancellation protects your revenue or expenses from an event against cancellation due to circumstances beyond your control. These circumstances can include, but are not limited to, hurricanes, earthquakes, severe/adverse weather, terrorism, labor strikes, non-appearance of key people, and unavailability of the venue due to fires, floods or power outages. A typical buyer of Event Cancellation Insurance would include organizers of Sporting Events, Concerts, Music Festivals, Award Shows and more. Although you may be appointed with PHLY, you will need to register as a broker within the TotalEvent system to access the Event Cancellation product.
