Smiling faces filled up Pass and Stow at Citizens Bank Park for a long awaited celebration of four Philadelphia-area non-profits. It was a celebratory event for the beneficiaries of the Philadelphia Insurance Runs for Charities program, a partnership where PHLY donates $50 for every Philadelphia Phillies run scored throughout the season. The Phillies had 734 total runs scored in 2022 which resulted in a donation of $36,700 raised for four deserving loyal PHLY customers.
VIDEO The charitable beneficiaries included:
Community Council Health Systems - The mission of Community Council is to provide comprehensive mental health and educational services for adults and children. All services are designed to be holistic, geographically accessible, culturally sensitive, and coordinated with other related service systems, both formal and informal.
Oaks Integrated Care - Oaks Integrated Care is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families living with a mental illness, addiction or developmental disability. The organization offers over 230 health and social service programs throughout New Jersey designed to meet the needs of our community with compassion.
P.I.L.O.T. Services - PILOT Services provides individual and group supports to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities through supportive employment, community-based supports, and community inclusion.
Career Opportunity Development, Inc. (CODI) - CODI is committed to enriching the personal, social, and economic independence of individuals with disabilities and disadvantages through employment and housing.
It was time well spent honoring and learning about each non-profit's mission and hearing from the leaders their organization as they shared a few words and accepted their donation. We thank the Phillies for knocking in all those runs and working with us during these uncertain times. Also a big thanks for our friends at The Graham Company, Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Rue Insurance and Arthur J Gallagher for their valued partnership. And congratulations to our four Charities being recognized.
