Executive Management

Mr. Jamie Maguire currently serves as Executive Chairman of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). He began his career in insurance as a broker and underwriter of professional liability, working for various prominent U.S. insurance companies in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia before joining PHLY in 1996 as Vice President of Underwriting. After implementing many innovative operational and underwriting initiatives, he was promoted to Executive Vice President and COO in 1999 before becoming President and CEO three years later. Under his leadership, PHLY was recognized multiple times with 'Best Places to Work' awards and grew revenues from $460 million to over $2 billion, propelling its stock to a high of $61.50. In December of 2008, Mr. Maguire and his management team successfully completed the sale of the Company to its current parent, the Tokio Marine Group, one of the largest and most respected insurers in the world. He was subsequently named President and CEO of Tokio Marine North America, a position he held from 2011-2012. Today, PHLY remains among the top property and casualty insurers in the country, maintaining an "A++" A.M. Best rating - the highest in the insurance industry. For 15 consecutive years, PHLY has been named to Ward's Top 50 Insurance Companies list for its consistent, superior results.

Through The Jamie & Lisa Maguire Foundation, Mr. Maguire supports many organizations and causes including education, health & wellness, social justice and the environment. He serves/has served on the Boards of the Franklin Institute, American Red Cross SEPA Chapter, Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, Saint Joseph's University, Saint Joseph's University Academy of Risk Management and Insurance, Drexel University, and Gallaudet University School of Insurance and Risk Management. In addition, he gives his time as a mentor for students at the University of Notre Dame and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. He was the recipient of the 2012 Saint Joseph's University Haub School of Business Hall of Fame, the 2010 Ernst & Young regional 'Entrepreneur of the Year,' and the 2008 Emerald Advisors' Entrepreneurial and Excellence Award. He participates in endurance races and Ironman triathlons for charity, including three appearances at the Hawaii Ironman Championships. In 2010, the Wall Street Journal listed him as one of the Top 25 Fittest CEOs of the Decade. Mr. Maguire and his wife Lisa reside in Fort Washington, PA with their four daughters. Mr. Maguire holds his B.S. in Finance from Saint Joseph's University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Bob O'Leary's insurance career began in 1977 as an Industrial Sales Representative for American Mutual Insurance Company. He later joined Universal Underwriters in 1979. In 1982, Mr. O'Leary joined Maguire Insurance Agency, which became Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) in 1986. Mr. O'Leary has held several titles throughout his years at PHLY, becoming President & CEO in February of 2013.

Mr. O'Leary holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Connecticut, and he earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation in 1987. He is married with three sons.

Mr. Brian O'Reilly currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). He began his career with Philadelphia Insurance Companies as a Marketing Representative in 1990 and has held various positions since then, including Regional Sales Manager and Assistant Vice President of Marketing. Before becoming Senior Vice President of Marketing in 2011, Mr. O'Reilly served as Regional Vice President where he grew the Metro Region from $95 million to $325 million in annual business.

Mr. O'Reilly holds a B.A. in History from Lafayette College. He sits on the Board of Governors of Notre Dame High School (Lawrenceville, NJ) and Board of Trustees of Kidsbridge, Inc. (Trenton, NJ). He holds the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designations. He lives in Lawrenceville, NJ with his wife and two children.

Ms. Karen A. Gilmer-Pauciello currently serves as the Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). Ms. Pauciello joined PHLY in 2005 as Vice President & Controller before being promoted to Senior Vice President in 2009. In her current role, Ms. Pauciello has responsibility for all financial and tax accounting and reporting, corporate budgeting/planning and treasury activities, and serves as a liaison with the Company's external investment advisors and auditors. Prior to joining PHLY in 2005, she spent seven years as the Vice President & Controller of Admiral Insurance Company. Previously, Ms. Pauciello held financial management positions at several insurers, beginning her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia in 1988.

Ms. Pauciello holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. (Finance concentration) from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a member of the American & Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Pauciello also currently serves as Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of Tokio Marine North America, the parent company of PHLY, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. Ms. Pauciello resides in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania with her husband and their triplet sons.

Mr. William J. Benecke currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). He began his insurance career with Ohio Casualty Insurance Group in Hamilton, OH and Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Benecke has been employed in the Claims Department for Philadelphia Insurance Companies since 1990. He was promoted from a Senior Claims Examiner to the position of Claims Manager in 1992, to Vice President of Claims in 1993, to Senior Vice President of Claims in 1999, and in 2008 he was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Claims Officer. He has executive oversight responsibilities for the Claims, Risk Management Services, and Compliance departments. Mr. Benecke is responsible for the claims processing, reserving, and settlement practices of the Company's National Claims Operations. Under Mr. Benecke's leadership, he and his claims team have received, processed, managed, and settled over one million claims valued in excess of $10 billion.

Mr. Benecke holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University and he earned an Associate in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America. He continues his insurance studies as a candidate for the CPCU and RPLU designations. Mr. Benecke is married with three sons and resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Mr. John W. Glomb, Jr.'s career began as a management and professional liability underwriter with National Union, a member company of American International Group. His tenure with AIG consisted of assignments in New York, Chicago, and finally San Francisco as a Regional Vice President. Mr. Glomb also worked for six years at Banc of America Securities LLC in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking practice. He joined Philadelphia Insurance Companies in 2007 as Senior Vice President of the Management and Professional Liability division. In 2009, he took on responsibility for PHLY's entire Underwriting department as Senior Vice President. Mr. Glomb was appointed Chief Underwriting Officer in January 2011. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer.

Mr. Glomb received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and was a four year member of the nationally ranked Heavyweight rowing team. Mr. Glomb was a member of the United States Heavyweight rowing eight that won a gold medal at the World University Games. Mr. Glomb also received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of AIM Academy - a school (grades 1-12) for children with language-based learning differences. Mr. Glomb and his wife Franny live in Wyndmoor, PA with their four children.
