Report a Surety Claim
Philadelphia Insurance Companies Surety department is comprised of dedicated claims professionals equipped with expertise needed to handle surety claims.
Many bonds issued by sureties contain unique and specific notice requirements to perfect a claim against the bond. Bonds may also be subject to State and Federal notice requirements. We encourage each claimant to obtain an executed copy of the final bond from the Obligee to ensure that it is complying with the form of claim notice, method of delivery, and timing requirements. Applicable statutory notice provisions should also be consulted.
To expedite processing of the claim, please include the following information in the claim notice:
- Contact information for the claimant or its legal representative, including an email address
- Name of bonded Principal
- Bond Number (if known)
- Project name/description; or bonded obligation
- Name of entity that claimant supplied services, labor or materials to (if different than Principal)
- Amount of the claim
- Brief description of the nature of the claim
Upon receipt, the claim will be registered and assigned to an experienced Philadelphia Indemnity claim examiner for response and investigation. Notices are to be sent to the following address:
