TEAMPHLY has crossed the finish line, but Climbing for Cleanup is not complete! On Saturday, August 14th, Philadelphia Insurance Companies’ Co-Presidents Sean Sweeney and Chris Maguire spent over 10 hours climbing 14,000 feet during the 100-mile Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race.
Thank you to all of the friends who have supported Climbing for Cleanup and helped raise more then $25,000! While the TEAMPHLY riders have conquered “the climb,” their efforts to help the victims of the BP Oil Spill are far from over. TEAMPHLY is still raising money for the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans through August to assist those who’ve been affected by the catastrophe in the Gulf. It costs $100,000 per week to provide services to more than 19,000 people in 9 different sites along the Gulf Coast – and funds are running out.
