PHLY recognizes their employees' skills are a valued asset. Our mentoring program helps cultivate those skills to achieve goals of attracting and retaining employees, work force development, and diversity. Mentors are matched with mentees to develop a relationship that fosters leadership development, career exploration and development, and insight of PHLY values, business structure and management process.

 

Mentors

  • Gain an ally in enriching the company’s well being

  • Assist in developing mentee’s unique talents
  • Meet on an ongoing basis as specified
  • Provide feedback and recommendations

Mentees

  • Obtain critical feedback in areas such as technical abilities, interpersonal relationships, leadership skills and career development
  • Develop a sharper focus on what is needed to grow professionally
  • Has a friendly ear with which to share all aspects of their interpersonal and professional development
  • Follow through on commitments made and tasks assigned in the program
  • Keep manager informed of progress
  • Communicate with program coordinator during the process
