What do you like most about working here?

I feel when the company sees a potential in you, that they give you opportunities. There is an open-minded nature here that leaves a lot of room to grow. I started here nearly 6 years ago as a Marketing Assistant. After that, I moved into the role as Executive Assistant, which was really a fun time! I wanted to get more involved in computers, so I grew into the job as Assistant to the Claim Manager. I never thought I would wind up the Licensed Claim Adjuster that I am today. But the more involved in the claim process I got, the more interested I became. The opportunity to learn and grow was here, so I took it. The company isn't hesitant to offer forward moving opportunities.

Describe your coworkers.

Calm, positive and accepting. I love the people here.

Describe your supervisor.

I get a lot of positive reassurance from my supervisors. I am working towards my AIC Designation, as I overcome my testing anxiety, they are always there with a completely positive attitude. It's really encouraging! They are also very straight forward. I feel I get the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and I really appreciate the honest up front attitude. I always know where I stand.

What is your favorite company sponsored event?

This company is amazingly service oriented. I am so thankful to work for a company that gives us opportunities to volunteer and donate and provide for our community. My favorite event is the annual Walk-For-Life Breast Cancer Awareness weekend. I bring the best chocolate cookies in for the bake sale. (Although they are not always homemade!) We raffle off gift baskets and have vases of flowers for sale too. Later in the evening I also volunteer for the campground event. I bring my two kids, and we have a great time with all the other local companies that get together during the Walk-For-Life Relay. All the money is donated to Breast Cancer Research.
