PHLY’s 5th Year for the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon

PHLY was proud to be the title sponsor of the 2010 Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon for the 5th consecutive year. Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park hosted over 4,500 athletes and 15,000 spectators for the 2010 PHLYTRI June 25th-27th.
Recognized as one of the top five triathlons in the country, the weekend event started with a Multi-sport Expo and included Sprint and Olympic Distance Races as well as a Kids Fun Run and Duathlon.
Saturday’s Sprint Race featured the 2ndAnnual Tokio Cup, an inter-Company competition between PHLY, Tokio Millennium Re and Tokio Marine Management. TEAMPHLY won the Tokio Cup by a 4 minute margin and was able to present The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with a prize donation of $15,000, adding to the grand total of $150,000 raised for CHOP through the PHLYTRI.
