PHLY Sponsored the Special Olympics Fall Festival

Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) proudly sponsored the Volleyball Venue at the 2009 Fall Festival, hosted by Villanova University. The Fall Festival, a three-day event which hosts nearly 1,000 athletes and over 400 coaches each year, is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the world. 50 PHLY employees, friends, and family members volunteered at this year’s event. The weekend ended on a great note as Jamie Maguire, Chairman & CEO, presented competitor Daniel Foley with the PHLY Award of Valor at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday. We thank all those volunteers for making the event a huge success!
In its 21st consecutive year, the event features exciting competition in bocce, long distance running/walking, power lifting, roller skating, soccer and volleyball.
